SnC ANNOUNCEMENT: How to remove Malaysian General Election (GE13) Indelible Voting Ink

And like the word "recalcitrant" which became so popular thanks to the Paul Keating and Mahathir Mohamad spat back in 1993 … the new word of the day is "indelible"…

.
in·del·i·ble
/inˈdeləbəl/
Adjective
  1. (of ink or a pen) Making marks that cannot be removed.
  2. Not able to be forgotten or removed: "his story made an indelible impression on me".
Synonyms
ineffaceable
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

If you're worried about it staining your finger, clothes etc … , there really isn't anything to be worried about.

Firstly, despite having manicured fingers (which I had removed from the wrong index finger - goes to show how unreliable the social media news and pointers can be …) I was allowed to vote with no problems posed. In fact I had a very girlish, sweet and sincere exchange with the PRU13 indelible ink applicator who apologised for having to spoil my manicure!

Long story short, it was applied on - rather gently and with much care - dried by the time I was done crossing the vote boxes - and after navigating the crowd and traffic for approximately 20 minutes, I tried washing it off with the Ranger Craft Scubbie in the kitchen sink.

I am pleased that it's all gone now … with the exception of the crevasses where the nail meets the bed - coz I have a low threshold of pain and had not scrubbed hard at those areas.

Here's the outcome:

So Scrap-n-Crop.com supporters and crafters out there, if you have a Ranger Craft Scubbie ...

.
it washes off with almost no effort - just the Ranger Craft Scubbie + some water  … you're as good as new … manicure still intact!
