Becks may have loads of Barney's on 4th of July this year
... but mr. B {a.k.a Bryant} got wheels!!!.
Thanks to the Japan Volunteers Group to Send Wheelchairs For Overseas Children and my mother's ingenuity of Internet research and working the phones, we got mr. B a new set of wheels. She also helped a neighbour with a spina bifida grand daughter to secure a wheel chair for disabled children. Not bad for a sixty year old eh?

The Japan Volunteers Group to Send Wheelchairs For Overseas Children is a Japan-based NPO established in 2004. This NPO collects, cleans and repairs used wheelchairs in Japan and sends them to children with disabilities overseas. The society pays for all the cost in acquisition, shipment and refurbishment of these wheelchairs and have helped mobilised children in many countries in the world including Bulgaria, Vietnam, Thailand and more recently Malaysia.
.
A total of 117 wheelchairs had been flown in for distribution to 36 community rehabilitation centres in Selangor in March 2009 in addition to a generous donation of 50 short leg braces and 50 special supporting boots.
Za’ba who runs the Japan Volunteers Group to Send Wheelchairs For Overseas Children operations locally added that the society planned to bring in teaching aids for the blind.
