Val has gone nuts. She's always telling me, "can you do my nails again?"

My usual retort after a long depressing drive back from traffic congested Kuala Lumpur is: NO!

Well, for starters her fingernails are a perpetual mess! She'll just look at them adoringly and say, "Gesso. Moulding Paste. Fibre Paste. Silks. Mica. {the list doesn't end here}" 

Secondly, it's really a total waste of my time and the poor environment to touch up her manicure simply coz she's nuts about her Golden Mediums. 

So it's not a surprise when she shows off Tim Holtz' Ideology Assemblage Clock she'd in her corny-cutesy "ta da" fashion ...

Techniques include creating texture with mica flakes and molding paste and using various mediums such as Silks, Dabbers and Color Wash to create that "rusty" look.
