Val has an obsession for French Industrial off late.
Of course whilst she has an excellent excuse to shop for furniture with a new pad coming up soon, the challenge is to find them locally, balance the hefty prices tags with her monthly pocket money {the pain of being unemployed ;p} and her hubby's reminder of recycling and reusing their current furniture.
The thing is she had done her craft room and all other spaces allowed by hubby back done is white Victorian Shabby Chic! So, it's about combining both and finding harmony with some accent pieces from the french industrial style.
Any how, with or without the excuse and obsession for French Industrial furniture off late, I can bet my last dollar she's gone nuts with the shopping cart for Tim Holtz Ideology CHA Winter 2013 - his theme for this year's paper stash is … yes, none other that French Industrial! - ornate handwriting, vintage ephemera, european imagery, old photographs, a nostalgic color palette, and a touch of steampunk …

As for the ladies who recall how I misplaced a whole stacked of Configurations {with the intention of keeping it aside so that we can have a private Crop.Arty} … well, we have a new stash of Configurations in Scrap-n-Crop.com now!!! But what's more exciting is: Tim Holtz Ideology CHA Winter 2013 Configurations release is a configurations book!
Sized about half of the printers tray configurations, this one has an attached cover to lay completely flat when closed, or display open when standing up. Of course it includes all of the completely customizable inserts configurations is all about, but wait until you see the creative trinkets, embellishments to go with the Configurations - tissue tapes, rub-ons …etc.
