Ever felt intimidated by a blank canvas?
Have no fear as by the end of this 5 part series you will feel confident with various paint mediums, and learn how to decorate and embellish raw canvas in all forms. These projects are inspired by Donna Downey and we will be working with mostly Donna Downey's Prima creations.
This 7th DECEMBER 2010 we will be working on 2 projects simultaneously, demonstrating how you can manage your time when working on scrapbook projects.
Unlike Scrap-n-Crop.com's other CROP.Arty workshops,
this Working with Canvas Part 1 workshop will run from 10am to 4pm.
At the end of this session, you will take away
At the end of this session, you will take away
- a small camera bag, and
- a 12x12 fabric layout.

Project #1 - Camera Bag
Get messy as we learn how to decorate a raw canvas camera bag with iron ons and paint. Made by Prima this bag is fully padded on the inside to protect your precious camera. If you do not own a camera, this bag is also superb to fit your small purse and mobile phone and is pretty enough to use as a handbag.

Project #2 - Canvas Layout
See how working with canvas in place of cardstock changes the look of your layout. The layout also works with "masculine" photos as some of you will find difficulty getting inspiration for masculine projects. Make this layout a gift for your dad, your son or even your hubby and they might soon get addicted to scrapbooking too!
