SnC's September Crop.Arty

Whoa..hooo! We completed TWO mixed-medium projects during our splash.splosh.splat { open } Crop.arty last 12th September 2009 at Scrap-n-Crop.com - a BIG feat considering we had TWO late comers {deceived by the GPS! lol} and none of the participants had experience in mixed-medium projects.

As promised, protected by our aprons, we got down dirty and messy ...

to the greatest delight of Becky, our LAST minute youngest participant who forced her way through ... and errr... did an amazing job! (seriously - I am not saying it coz she's my baby girl!)

Working with many techniques such as canvas prep with gesso, texture painting with tissue and moulding paste, crackling, antiquing with distress ink, antiquing with acrylic paint, antiquing with alcohol ink, peeling paper, peeling paint, distressing and colour wash and finally putting everything together - collage, our participants had a blast experimenting with all the various jars and bottles of paint, paste, squirts, sprays, glimmer, glitter, liquid etc in the Scrap.Abode.
