One photo harbors a gold-mine of associations and stories. getitScrapped! has exercises and techniques for mining that gold--for creating pages that get at all the meaning that's not immediately obvious.

And they're not just talking epiphanies (though those are good, too, and we'll want some of those). They're talking about including humor and details that reflect the times in which the photos were taken as well as telling stories that endure.

The Sense & Sensibility Scrapbooking Symposium starts January 5th, and the three of getitScrapped! have started the new year thinking and creating and just generally trying to "make Jane proud."

Debbie's heading up the "Be Real" classes on Mondays.

Janet's in charge of humor on Wednesdays.

Sharyn's going to show you how to "Get With the Times" on Fridays.

The class materials will get you thinking now and then become a go-to reference for you when the class is over.

As we have mentioned before, we now take pre-orders.
But what are pre-orders and how does Scrap-n-Crop's pre-order work?

WHAT ARE PRE-ORDERS?

Generally, pre-orders, are orders for products which are on the way. We have been getting lots of requests after ordering for some customers resulting in a good number of products which are quickly sold out. Therefore, to counter this problem, we are now listing products which we are ordering!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Pre-orders are now listed online in the PRE-ORDER Category.
The pre-orders will be listed by manufacturer when we make our orders.
Beside the manufacturer we will list the pre-order end date.
This means you must make your orders before the end date.
.
When you pre-order, we guarantee you will get your products unless the manufacturer did not send us the order or is out of stock. No more fighting for stock!!!

PROCESSING RULES

Please do not add your pre-orders to your regular orders. They should be checked out on its own. You will be required to pay 50% of the pre-order amount. As usual, send us your payment confirmation after you have made payment. When the goods arrive, we will make an announcement on our blog. You will then be required to pay the balance 50% before we deliver the goods to you. In the event the manufacturer is out of stock, we will refund your deposit.

CHA Winter Shopping List ... Cosmo Cricket

Seriously torn with this one. The Cosmo Cricket's newest CHA Winter range.

On one hand they are soooo adorable and cute. I could make a Mini. Oh, oh, ohhh, I have photos of Becks that will match that range.

And Snorkel! Look at the snorkel range! I mean who snorkels in my family or goes to the beach but... just look at the snorkel range! and you'll know what I mean.

So, help me out ladies. I know my lil' sister has her eyes on Girl Friday already, so her opinion will be bias ... and I really don't want this to be just pure indulgence when we have sooooo many more stuff to get.

Oh, one more thing ... Mother's Day is around the corner. We could use, you know, THAT Everafter range too! gaaaahhHHHH this buying spree never gets easier.
