It's back! As usual it's our pleasure at Scrap-n-Crop.com to host this year's Paper Crafters Get-Together.

SnC ANNOUNCEMENT: Kids Classes this November 2015 at Scrap-n-Crop.com

Sazalina Zakaria of Share Your Love with Cards will be teaching 12 kids to make their very own customised felt pencil cases.

Relax, no sewing required and no sharp objects!

Kids will be supervised throughout and will be using safe crafting tools such as a manual diecut machine to cut out their names and embellishments.

On 9th November 2015 (Monday), I had thirteen of them! 

With my 3 yo included ... that's 14 kids to mind for for 2+ hours!!!

What did they create?
Well, here's some picture of what the project was ... but by the end of the class, I was so pleased and excited to see the variations all 13 of them came up with. Needless to say, they were one happy eager bunch that even brought photos to stick into their album - what a blast we had!

In addition to the workshops, there’ll be talks, sharing sessions, exchange and exhibition that promise loads of fun and friendship.

The sketching events are open to all and free of charge. 

Workshops however require fees and registration.

Scrap-n-Crop.com had the honour to be in great presence of many water color artist and hobbyist on 7th March 2015 at the Warna dan Air Studio Gallery.

Amongst them are Jamal Tumiran (Jamal Tommy), Hishammuddin Salmin (Hisham Salmin) and Zulkifli Yasin (Abey Zoul), part time water color artist who exhibited in NST's Balai Berita lobby in Jalan Riong in April 2013 in an exhibition called '3', and full time artist / cartoonist - Azhar Ahmad Tembakau.

One of the things that gets us all pumped-up and going daily is the fact that Scrap-n-Crop.com allows us to meet wonderful home grown talents all the time... and more often than not we are honoured to be able to support the growth of these talent by making products that are otherwise unavailable in this part of the world, available.

Believe it or not, we have products dating back to the day we started in our humble under-the-stairs-store which crafters or artist from some nook and corner will say: 

"OMG! I've been looking for these ... like forever"

But more frequently, it's a case of :

"how do I use this?"

or increasingly so with the progress of social media: 

"I saw this on YouTube. Can I create it with this product?"

Removing the likes of professional set designers (you'd be surprised how many international movie sets have used products brought in by Scrap-n-Crop.com) or events, what makes us really excited are individuals who are trying to spread the joy of their handmade products by creating and selling unique one-off items. 

During our last Open.Day we met Edmund Low an interior designer with the cutest ever midori traveler notebook with a scooter charm attached to it ... and yes loads and loads of inspirational sketches (and washi tapes) on its internal pages.

It appears, Edmund carves his own stamps (adorable!) 

and sells his stamped or embossed cards on Etsy.com (edsCraftory)
