Although these traditional Japanese watercolors were designed for professional artists and crafters, they can be enjoyed by novices and experts alike. 

The non-toxic, water-based paints are ideal for sketching, illustration, sumi-e, cards, and more! 

Each watercolor block comes in an individual tray that can be removed from the palette during use. The underside of the box lid features a color chart that you can fill in yourself using the actual watercolors so that you can see exactly how they will appear when used.

The large pallets allow working straight from palette to paper, making them great for painting on the go. If heavily diluted the paint dries highly translucent or with less saturation it dries opaquely with a slight sheen. Can be used on conventional watercolour paper or dark coloured cards.
