Scrappy Angie's: Tim Holtz Distress Spritzer Review

OH YES!! It's finally here. The Tim Holtz Distress Spritzer - one of the hottest products from CHA 2014!

What is this gadget you may ask? Well, think of it as a mini airbrush handheld spritzing tool - compatible with all brands of markers!

Copics, distress markers, sharpies, memento markers ... EVEN Montana acrylic marker pens!! As long as they have a felt tip  - you can use it.

So how do you use it?

1. Put you marker thru the insert with the brush (felt) tip of the marker

2. Make sure the tip is sitting nicely over the flat edge and it's past the air hole, else nothing will be spritzed out.

3. Tighten the screw and you're all set!

Here, I've placed a stencil over some white cardstock and all you got to do is squeeze the pump like so and wa-la! 

IMPORTANT TIPS:

1. Direct the tool - not the marker - to where you want to spritz. 

2. When changing colors in between, make sure you clean your flat edge to not contaminate your markers.

3. If you are using alcohol ink markers - they may stain your stencils.

4. For a more intense color, go closer to your cardstock. For a lighter spritz, go further. :)

Now, remember - this spritzer is compatible with almost all sizes of markers. How do you make them fit? 

1. Remove the screw

2. Then remove the insert

SEE!! It fits the Montana acrylic markers... Oh, the possibilities!
