It's the last Thursday of October and this will be the final week of the Rangers product showcase. Today I will be showing you a fun technique on using your Tim Holtz Distress Stains.
What are distress stains?
Distress Stains are fluid water-based dyes for papers and other porous surfaces.
• Acid free, non-toxic
• Fade-resistant dyes
• Dabber top with spring valve control

Today we will be doing some splat-and-splash and creating some "fireworks".
***
1. Get a piece of white card stock and a Distress Stain (Here I am using Worn Lipstick). Then angle your Distress Stain bottle just about 90 degrees above your cardstock.
2. Then... SPLAT the Distress Stain onto your cardstock and see it splash! Do not worry - this will not damage your applicator. But do remember, just a gentle splat will do. Hammering or brutal force is not needed. Splat it randomly to create a background pattern.
3. Next, embellish it and wa-lah!! The card is ready. Simple and quick!
Now get your Distress Stains out and give it a go! :)
