SnC FEATURED ARTIST: Nasuha

.

It's always fun to discover new talent. It's an honour to discover them amongst our supporters and customers. Scrap-n-Crop.com is honoured to showcase Nasuha - a novice who only very recently started paper craft and has wow-ed a lot of people! Great work Su! We hope to see more and more great stuff from you in future ... but ...err... don't craft and blog too much either, you need to study!

about me
My name is Nasuha bt Ahmad Helmi. I've just turned 22 on14th March. My hometown is in Seremban and currently I am pursuing my bachelor degree at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Tengku Ampuan Afzan in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.

how and when i started card making.
I made my first card about 8 months ago. It all started when I started blogging. I found so many blogs thats dedicated to paper crafting and I got inspired.

my style
I think my style is pretty much 'freestyle'. I don't have any specific style. Since I have a very limited crafting tools and stuffs, I try to use everything that I have to make a beautiful card. Some of the crafting stuffs can be quite expansive and as a student with a limited budget I cannot afford to have some of this stuff. Hence, I have to be creative to make use of everything that I have. Most of the time I use the paper piercing technique. I found that this technique doesn't require a lot of tools, but just a lil' bit of patience. And I love to add dimensions to my card ... so you can see tier of papers being glued together. In the future I hope I can try stamping.

my inspiration
I draw my inspiration from everywhere. I learn that the best way to create something is by looking at other people's work. From seeing other people's work I try to create my own cards with my own style.

favourite manufacturer
I love ALL pattern papers!!! My favorite pattern paper so far is Early Bird from Cosmo Cricket. I got 1 pad and I bought it from Scrap-n-Crop.com.

I am extremely honored with the chance to show you my work, but I still have a lot of things to learn and hopefully in a few month or year perhaps I will improve my creations. I would be so happy if you can visit my work at my blog {HERE} too. A million thanks.

Sincerely,
Nasuha
