and here's when I get all sentimental coz amongst the stash I have are some very precious handmade ornaments by family members (passed down through generations), friends and friends' families...
One in particular that comes to mind is my mom's Danish friend's aunt. Well, let's say my mom is now known as "nana" and her friend is counting years into the '60s ... so, that makes the aunt ... oh, well, I don't know, but lets say matured. She is a folk artist and makes handmade inticate Christmas ornaments from clay, draws and paints wall hanging elfs, crochets snowflakes ...etc. mr.B has been very fortunate to have inherited all these pieces a few years back and in has become a tradition that only her handmade items are used to decorate mr.B's room.
Taking the lead from here and using my {huge} scrapbooking materials stash, I will be making some of my own ornaments this year ... so, please join me and draw some inspirations from below.
