PROJECT SCRAP-AWAY Kicks Off

Project Scrap Away (PSA) kicks off on May 22nd on our Project 365 blog with the first of 12 challenges.

From countless of entries, it took the volunteers of Scrap-n-Crop.com and 3 celebrity guest judges 3 hours of "debate" over the final 15 finalist.

looking back 5 years

5 years has flown by.

That was when I first started scrapbooking; frantically and desperately preserving memories of my son - Bryant - who suffers from severe brain injury and was told had months, perhaps, to live.

Not only has my son made it way beyond months, to years... my scrapbooking has also evolved from sticking just about anything I can find onto albums to opening an online store that provides fair priced scrapbooking goodies to scrappers in this part of the world and provide gainful employment to family and friends of brain injured children.

To date, as a family of volunteers, we are proud to have contributed towards the 'educational' process of scrapbooking in Malaysia, participated in meaningful Outreach Programmes and enriched our lives and the lives of others in our situation.

As we move forward with a new facelift, we would like to thank all those that have volunteered their kind services, the manufacturers and celebrity scrapbookers who have supported us and our cause, and last but not least our wonderful scrappers and crafter who continues to share their experience and scrapping journey with us.

It is Bryant's birthday today as he turns 5!!!

I prayed he will be free of his seizures for at least today. But at last, that did not come true. His first seizure was at midnight and lasted till 12.20 am. Then he had another attack at 5am and another at 7.45 am. I do not know how many more he will have or have had as I went to work.

I bought him 2 ice cream cakes, one of which he will bring to school, Spastic Center this Wednesday. I still have not decided what to pack home for dinner, though its really not his choice since he has never even had the opportunity to taste anything at all. We will still have him taste a little of his cake, though I much suspect his little sis will gladly eat it all!
