Scrappy Angie's Tips & Techniques - My Mind's Eye Kraft Mini Album

Today I am showcasing some awesome kraft paper from My Mind's Eye {Kraft Fun Day} collection where you can buy from Scrap-n-Crop.com

***
It had been some time since I made mini albums - this is a customized order for a friend and she wanted a mini album to document her journey with her hubby and super adorable son, Ian.

I am using Heidi Swapp's color magic star wood album but instead of using the white cardstock inside - I used the kraft paper. Because it is so thick, it's perfect as pages of a mini album. I sprayed the wooden covers with some Color Shine Black Velvet. I've also used many embellishments in it - stickers, wood veneers and more.

Click HERE to take a look at a vast variety of embellishments from Scrap-n-Crop.com

***
Here's a look at the cover + a peek inside!

To get a peek inside on all the pages of the mini album - please visit my blog here at www.scrappyscrappy.blogspot.com

NEW ARRIVALS!!! Faber Castell Mix and Match PITT Pen

.
In many countries, ink drawings have a very long history among artists. Their expressive power, covering properties, resistance to ageing as well as the possibility of combining them with many other painting techniques have always made this medium interesting for artists and graphic designers.
.
Faber-Castell has brought together all of the advantages of drawing in Indian ink in a modern and uncomplicated disposable pen - the PITT artist pen

The high-quality brush point works both straight and bent without breaking.

While the light colours are transparent and, thus, well-suited to varnishing techniques, the dark colours have good covering qualities.

PITT artist pens have unsurpassed light-fastness and the individual colours are marked with an asterisk-based code.

MIX & MATCH from Faber-Castell makes designing with COLOUR simple.

NEW ARRIVALS!!! Teresa Collins Memories Collection in Scrap-n-Crop.com

Screen shot 2013-01-10 at 9.25.10 AM
2. MEMORIES- Devan and Gentry engaged

This is truly a reflection of the other side of me - whimsical with a mix of eclectic and vintage.

Teresa Collin's MEMORIES-past, present and future - is really 'speaking' to me as I helped Val unpacked and label them. It seems to be begging to be used to preserve memories of love ones that have departed ... and strangely this is what she has to say:

"I wanted to do a line that would help preserve our memories. I was inspired one day when I was home thinking and missing my mother. I could not sleep and felt inspired to do this line in her memory."
